Re-energised and Reconnected at UKREiiF 2025
Returning from UKREiiF 2025, we’re feeling reinvigorated by the experience.
Attending the event for the fourth year, The event brought together a brilliant mix of industry peers, friends, and partners, and it was refreshing to reconnect in person after another year of change and evolution. Conversations were rich and topical, covering everything from emerging trends to shared challenges. The dockside setting was an excellent backdrop for networking, made even better by the great weather—which was a definite improvement on last year!
A standout realisation during the event was just how many of the issues we’re navigating in our own sectors are being felt across the industry. That common ground created a real sense of solidarity. We took comfort in knowing we’re not alone in facing certain hurdles, and it was encouraging to swap insights and ideas with others who are in the same boat. These exchanges weren’t just reassuring—they sparked genuine opportunities to collaborate and move forward together.
We’re particularly excited about the new connections made and the fresh collaborations that have started to take shape. The challenge now is to maintain that momentum and start turning early-stage conversations into concrete actions. Whether it’s following up with information, scheduling catch-ups, or exploring business development ideas, there's plenty to progress. One especially exciting development was receiving an instruction from a new client—proof that events like this can lead to real opportunities.
Interestingly, some of the most rewarding interactions came from unexpected moments. Leaving room in the schedule turned out to be a wise move, allowing us to attend spontaneous talks and bump into people we hadn’t planned to see. As we reflect on this year’s event, we’re already thinking ahead—next year, we’ll aim to make more of the evening events too. UKREiiF was, without doubt, well worth attending, and we’re leaving it energised, inspired, and ready to follow through on what’s next.
