The Football Centre incorporates two full size 3G football pitches supplementing the existing grass pitches and a 16,800sf pavilion accommodating a new Middlesex county FA headquarters, six team changing rooms and social and community space. The flexible community space includes a café and social and teaching space to support coach education and training programmes. In addition, the scheme provides two cricket squares, a basketball court, a skatepark, a childrens playground and a model aeroplane fly zone.
LK2 were pivotal to the partnership arrangement (Ealing Council, the FA, the Football Foundation, the Premier League and the DCMS) and were instrumental in securing £3.2m funding together with a 50 acre asset transfer creating a hugely successful and financially sustainable business model.
