Middlehaven Dock is part of the Middlehaven Regeneration Area – the creation of a 120 hectare mixed use city-scale urban core with strategic links to the town centre.
LK2 produced a masterplan for a 275,000 sf mixed-use two level leisure and entertainment destination fronting the dock and anchored by a Snozone Ski Centre. Uses include a multiplex cinema, bowling, bmx & skate park, urban gym, trampoline, soft play and airkix with cafes, restaurants and bars taking advantage of the dockside views. Water-based activities such as cable ski and zip wires are also incorporated to create a town centre destination.
