Working with longstanding client Destec Engineering, this project focused on revitalising their existing office and factory site in Lincolnshire.
The scheme delivers a fresh, contemporary identity for the business, including full recladding of the oldest part of the factory and new signage to create a bold, modern frontage. Internal improvements including refurbished kitchen/s, breakout and welfare areas to enhance staff facilities, alongside the installation of a solar PV system to support the client’s sustainability objectives. The overall impact resulted in a reduction of the client energy costs by 44% across all facilities.
LK2 supported the client with the acquisition of new adjacent premises including strategic reporting, as well as sequential test and planning compliance reports.
