UK Leisure Framework Announcement
Lincolnshire architect named as supplier on UK Leisure Framework.
LK2 Group have been named as a supplier on the UK Leisure Framework, which is managed by Denbighshire Leisure Limited. The framework covers scoping, design, refurbishment, construction and the development of leisure centres, theatres, play facilities, recreation facilities and sports facilities across the UK public sector.
The appointment is the firm’s most recent framework win, with having previously been named on the 2018 framework and the coveted five-year Football Foundation, Football Association and Sport England Framework Management Consultant for Changing Rooms and Associated Facilities in 2017.
The UK-wide framework has already delivered 96 projects to date, worth over £300m. This is an exciting opportunity for LK2 Group, with our portfolio and skills set aligning very closely to the framework.
Rectory Park, Middlesex is a prime example of where we have used our sector specific knowledge to bring in stakeholders, partnerships and identify grant funding, creating a hugely successful and financially sustainable business model and boosting the project to what it is today.
Adam Skidmore, Associate Director, said, “This provides a great opportunity for LK2 to work within the framework and provide leisure specific knowledge and experience that will help public sector organisations and private operators clients’ see their project through from conception to completion.”
