LK2 listed on new framework for top retailer
We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been awarded a place on the new panel of architectural consultants providing services to Marks and Spencer through its new and improved framework, aiming to streamline the delivery of new stores across the UK.
As part of the two-year framework, we’ll be delivering everything from foodhalls to full-line stores across the country, ensuring it is able to support M&S in creating efficient stores which serve local communities.
M&S account manager and team lead, Mark Howarth, has worked with the retailer on some of its major flagship stores overseeing extensions, interior refits and modernisation works. He said: “We are delighted to have earnt a place on M&S’ new framework, which has been completely re-worked to ensure delivery of new stores and foodhalls is efficient and strategic.
“We have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to retail and leisure and understand what M&S needs from its stores both functionally and aesthetically. This framework will enable our team to continue to work in new streams and build on our expertise, allowing us to work on a wide breadth of schemes across the country.”
Our appointment follows our work delivering a full-line M&S store in Port Glasgow last year, during which we oversaw the fit-out, construction and on-site works.
Mark added: “We are eager to begin working on a number of new exciting projects for M&S and are looking forward to showcasing our unique approach to problem-solving when it comes to both large and small retail schemes.”
