New Hire for Team LK2
Lincoln architectural firm bolsters team with new hiring.
LK2 Architects welcome new Part II Architectural Assistant, Thia Blake to the team.
Having completed her bachelor's degree in architecture in 2021, Thia worked in a small architecture practice in Norwich, where she gained experience in developing residential projects, such as barn conversions and house extensions. Thia went on to continue her studies at Lincoln University to achieve her masters in architecture.
Her project developed the concept of creating a space on the border line of two countries that can be shared by all as a way to reflect and preserve the history and memory of everyone. This project went on to be nominated for the RIBA Silver Presidents medal and was published in the Student Architects Journal. Thia is now continuing her studies whilst working to achieve her Part III and become a registered architect.
Andy Newman, director at LK2 Architects, said “We’re delighted to welcome Thia to the team. A RIBA President Silver Medal nominee who will help bolster the team for our ever-growing portfolio of work”.
