Collaboration is key
One of the things that sets LK2 apart from its peers is its team’s willingness to collaborate. Rather than competing, we aim to come together with other businesses and share expertise, helping to unlock hidden opportunities for our clients.
This collaborative work ethic is reflected in the consultancy services we’re able to offer clients, working alongside other architecture firms or in-house architecture teams.
While it may seem counter-intuitive, we’ve found that in reality there are many benefits to be reaped from this approach. By combining expertise and resource, clients can be assured that they are getting an enhanced set of skills and expertise to deliver the very best outcomes for them.
Both teams also benefit from exposure to a different way of thinking, improving skillsets and allowing them to take this newly earned knowledge on to other projects.
For example, for the last two years LK2 has acted as an advisor and design consultant for award winning Lincoln property development and construction company Taylor Lindsey.
In that time, we’ve collaborated on more than ten projects across both the residential and commercial sectors, working alongside Taylor Lindsey’s in-house architecture team to complement their expertise.
Our design team work to develop an in depth understanding of our clients’ and partners’ needs, both now and in years to come. By embedding ourselves within their business and working as an extension of their team, we are able to work together to deliver optimum design on time and within budget.
These kinds of partnerships aren’t about taking over a project or dismissing the ideas of our partners, but focus on joining forces to bring a wider range of expertise and range of approaches to further enhance a project.
As people come to expect more and more from their built environment, LK2 plans to lead the way for the architecture sector, encouraging more firms to join forces to deliver projects that break boundaries and defy expectations.
