Holbeach United Community Sports Academy was officially handed over on the 24th April 2015. The project involved full relocation for Holbeach United Junior Football Club, enabling them to play from a home base for the first time in the club’s history.  The facilities consist of a 4 changing room sports pavilion and extensive grass pitches.

LK2 undertook detailed business and financial planning, which was instrumental in accessing approximately £500,000 worth of funding for this £650,000 project.  The funding included £350,000 from the Football Foundation, £25,000 from Lincolnshire County Council, £30,000 from WREN and £17,500 from South Holland.

Des Ford from Holbeach United Junior Committee said, “ What we liked about LK2 was Gary’s knowledge of not only the funding processes, but also Football Foundation and Sport England’s requirements. He guided us all the way through the process from brown field to completed project.  A first rate service.”

This project was delivered in line with key partners, including the FA, Lincolnshire FA, Football Foundation and Sport England.
